The all-new Charon makes its official debut as a fully non-metal balisong trainer designed for safety, portability, and an authentic flipping experience.

Unlike traditional trainers, the Charon features a 100% non-metal construction with no internal weight inserts or balancing blocks. All inertia comes purely from the carefully engineered blade and handle geometry, paired with a bushing-based pivot system, delivering smooth and stable rotation.

Material & Engineering:
The Charon is made from a high-performance industrial polymer (Acetal / POM), offering:

• Low friction for smoother flipping
• High impact resistance, not easy to crack
• Excellent dimensional stability over long-term use
• Dense, metal-like tactile feel

Despite being non-metal, the material is significantly more difficult to machine than many aluminum alloys due to its softness and tendency to deform during processing. Extensive refinement was required to achieve stable CNC machining quality.

More importantly, both handle and blade are precision CNC-machined, rather than injection molded. This results in a significantly higher production cost, but delivers a level of feel and refinement far beyond typical plastic balisongs.

By optimizing weight distribution and structural geometry, the Charon achieves surprisingly strong rotational inertia—approaching the feel of lightweight aluminum trainers.
